Day one is over and done with, we basically started off the day by meeting at the Airport at 5.30am, checked in, shopped around and ate some stuff in the airport. Boarded the plane at about 7.30am! Reached Guangzhou airport at like 12pm and went to get some food~~

Group photo at Terminal 1!

Guangzhou Airport!!

Zha Jiang Mian!

4 bowls of it~

The side dish! Like our Singapore Salted vegetables!
Walked around the airport for a bit and went to check in at 4.30pm, the airplanes for China Southern is really small!! Its only 2 to 3 sections including the business class, and there's only 2 rows in each section!!
The flight was Guangzhou to Wuhan was quite fun!! Still feeling quite cheated by having to pay RMB $30 to sit in a cafe though, and we weren't even informed of it! But still, it was the first time where I had to took a bus to the plane in order to board it! Quite a nice experience overall! We went crazy before boarding the plane, taking a ton of photos and jumping and running at the runway before we finally board it. Wasn't quite impressed with the on-board food, drinks and flight attendants though. But hey, its a cheap and budget flight, so I can't expect much right? One of the attitude of the attendant surprised me though, it was on the flight from Singapore to Guangzhou. Her smile never left her face, her attitude was good and she handed me a deck of poker cards! Which one of my friend tried to get from the male attendant but failed! :P

Outside the plane during the flight to Wuhan
We reached Wuhan Airport at about 6+ close to 7pm, collected our luggage and went to board the bus that will bring us to WUST - Wuhan University of Science and Technology! Some of the China students came to fetch us and talked with us throughout the journey to the dormitory. They were really friendly though and could speak english (albeit with a very strong china accent). Reached the dormitory at about 8.30pm, settled down and went out to grab some stuff from the super market! We went to 2 bread shops first before that though to grab some bread to eat and for tomorrow's breakfast. The hokkaido milk cake is damn nice I swear! Shall take a photo of it and upload it next time. Unfortunately, we were so distracted by the other stores that by the time we reached the supermarket, it was closed already! :( So we had no choice but to walk all the way back to our dorm, but not without some of the street food that we had bought! :P

Our dorm!!!
First day was quite okay overall, settled down~ Still learning to adapt to the coldness and all. Shall go try out the xiao long bao tomorrow (which is today actually)~ But it seems that luck is not on my side as I am unable to find it!! :( :( :(
Alright, shall leave more things to post for the next post!
